About the Choir

TCC2 Thame Children's Choir was founded in November 2010 by local professional musician Duncan Aspden and local teacher and musician Alison Green, with administrative and financial support from the highly-regarded Thame Chamber Choir. The members quickly earned a reputation for the quality and enthusiasm of their singing.

As well as performing regularly alongside Thame Chamber Choir, they have also been engaged to sing in many other concerts and events including with Aylesbury Festival Choir, Thame Choral Society, Thame Concert Band, Witchert Chorale and City of Oxford Choir.  TCC2 has performed at local events including Thame's Music in the Park and Christmas Light Switch On.

TCC2 singers could be heard on CBBC's Cinemaniacs theme in 2015 and in 2016 they were broadcast alongside TCC on BBC Radio 3.
