When we are able to rehearse we are doing everything that we can to keep everyone Covid secure. In particular please do note the following main points when sending your child to a rehearsal:
1. IF YOUR CHILD OR ANY MEMBER OF THEIR HOUSEHOLD HAVE ANY COVID 19 SYMPTOMS (high temperature, new continuous cough, loss of taste or smell), or if they have been in close contact with anyone with these symptoms or have been asked to isolate for any reason, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO TCC2! If a child develops symptoms after having been to a rehearsal we would also be grateful if you would let us know.
2. Please can you remind your children that THEY MUST STAY 1M DISTANT FROM EACH OTHER (apart from their siblings of course). The children go to many different schools and they are NOT “in a bubble” at TCC2.
3. We will have HAND SANITISER, but if your child wishes to bring their own, that’s fine. If they think they will want a drink during the rehearsal please send them with a BOTTLE OF WATER. Please bring any MUSIC that Duncan has sent (this might include printing some at home before you come). Ideally please can they use the toilet at home before they come to rehearsal to minimise use of toilet facilities on site.
4. We ask politely that parents do not come into the building at any time before, during or after rehearsals.
Rehearsals for the Autumn Term start on Sunday 12th September at John Hampden School in Thame.
Training Choir will rehearse 4pm to 4.50pm
Senior Choir will rehearse 5pm to 6pm.
If you are attending, please remember to adhere to Covid-19 guidance!

Senior Choir £60 per term for 1st child, £40 for siblings
Training choir £40 per term per child
We feel strongly that no one should be refused a place in the choir for financial reasons. Through its Chill Out Fund, Oxfordshire County Council provides some bursaries. Please talk to Ann or to our treasurer Emma for further information about these.
We always have two responsible adults (musical director plus one other) with the children at all times for safeguarding reasons and to deal with any problems or illnesses that might occur.
Therefore we ask parents of members to volunteer to "supervise" each session. This entails being present at the rehearsal to ensure that the children are safe and well at all times. The supervisor is also in charge of refreshments and making sure the children are collected at the end of the session.
Duncan and Ann are both DBS checked. Ann has a First Aid Certificate.
All choir members must wear uniform for performances. This is a choir T-shirt with black trousers or skirt and tights along with black shoes.
We ask members to sign up to Easyfundraising and Amazon Smile if possible. This does not cost you anything, but allows the choir to collect a small donation from various online retailers when you make a purchase.
Please sign up using the links below and register "Thame Chamber Choir" as your chosen charity, and please consider asking family and friends to do the same.
For Easyfundraising we recommend downloading the Donation Reminder which will then pop up a reminder any time you visit a website where you can collect a donation.
For Amazon Smile you need to shop via this website rather than the regular Amazon website to receive the donations.
